Preparation:
Firstly, wash the clams carefully to remove any sand or dirt they might have. Head oil at medium head in a large pan. Add the garlic and saute it until it becomes tender. Add the wine and boil the mixture until it is reduced to half. Add the clams and steam them until they open. Add the butter and then cover the pan. Steam the clams until they all open and remove any clam that doesn't open. Put the clams into 2 large bowls, sprinkle parsley and serve.
